Holy Cow Boutique @ Lindon Community Center 25 N Main
All shows run on a Central Checkout. Vendors do not need to sit at their booths, but can if they choose. All purchases are run through the Holy Cow central registers with a commission taken at the point of sale. Our computer system tracks everything through your vendor # and we send out a check to you within 1-2 weeks after the boutique.
~What is a central-checkout show? Central checkout means that all sales are run through Holy Cow registers. We issue you a check 1-2 weeks after the boutique. Less 16% commission .
~Do I need to mark my items with a vendor number & price? YES! This is how you receive credit for what you have sold. Vendors may request a certain number or letter and number combination, or one will be assigned.
~What are the booth fees? They vary, our facility is unique and we are very creative with booth sizes. Please see the application for a list of booth sizes and fees. Please note that Holy Cow is now a 5 DAY event. The Booth fee covers all 5 days.
~Why do I pay a booth fee & commission? Booth fees help cover the cost of the building rental and advertising. Booth fees help but do NOT cover the entire cost that Holy Cow fronts. We spend a great deal on advertising. Which is why Holy Cow is very busy!
~Do I need to stay in my booth? NO, you do not. You may stay but keep in mind that unless your product requires you to be there you oftentimes do better if you are not there. We have noticed that patrons are more likely to visit your booth when you are NOT there, they tend to not feel as much pressure and are more free to look and shop around.
~Do I have to use my own display? *Yes, you are required to use the space allotted with your own setup. Backdrop, shelving etc. Due to the uniqueness of our building the booth sizes vary. We are very tight on space, please do not go outside your designated space.(not even an inch) Please see the application link above for the booth sizes and pricing. Please keep in mind you may not receive the size you requested. (* the only exception is Holy Cow stand spaces and a few spaces that have gridwall included, you will be notified upon acceptance if you have one of those spaces)
~If I apply early will I be accepted? Applying early is always a good idea. However, Holy Cow Boutique is a juried boutique. This means we have more applicants than we have room for and, therefore, have a selection committee. We also try to have a wide selection of vendors and not too many of the same types of items.
~Do I need to pay sales tax? No, Holy Cow collects and pays the sales tax during the boutique.
~Can I bring children to set up or to work my security shift? No, we ask that you do not bring your children with you. Setup can be dangerous for children and distracting for you and other vendors.
~Do I need to work security shifts? You may either volunteer to spend the 4 required hours or pay $48 . Security shift sign-ups will be emailed out a few weeks prior to the boutique. You may also choose to volunteer and pay. ( Example if you want to volunteer 2 and then pay for 2. You may also sign up for additional security hours (if available) and be compensated $10/hr after the required 4.
~Do I need to restock my booth frequently? YES, our boutique is very busy and we ask you to check your booth daily, if possible.
