All shows run on a Central Checkout. Vendors do not need to sit at their booths, but can if they choose. All purchases are run through the Holy Cow central registers with a commission taken at the point of sale. Our computer system tracks everything through your vendor # and we send out a check to you within 1-2 weeks after the boutique.
🛒 What is a Central-Checkout Show?
All customer purchases go through Holy Cow registers. You’ll receive a check (minus the 16% commission) within 1–2 weeks after the boutique.
🏷️ Do I need to mark my items?
Yes. Every item must be labeled with your vendor ID and price so you receive credit for sales. You may request an ID or one will be assigned to you.
📦 What are the Booth Fees?
Fees vary depending on booth size and location (each space is unique due to the venue). See the application for specific rates. Booth fees cover all 5 days of the event.
💰 Why do I pay both a booth fee and commission?
Booth fees help cover building rental and advertising but don’t cover all costs. The 16% commission supports the remainder—especially advertising, which is key to drawing large crowds.
👥 Do I need to stay in my booth during the event?
No. You’re welcome to stay, but it isn’t required. In fact, booths often perform better when vendors are not present, as shoppers feel less pressure.
🛠️ Do I bring my own booth setup?
Yes. Vendors must bring their own display (tables, shelves, backdrops, etc.) and stay within their assigned space (no overflow).
Exception: If you rent one of our designated stand spaces, the stand is provided.
📅 Does applying early guarantee acceptance?
No. This is a juried boutique, meaning applications are reviewed by a selection committee. Applying early helps but does not guarantee a spot.
🧾 Do I need to pay sales tax?
No. Holy Cow collects and pays all sales tax on your behalf.
🚫 Can I bring children during setup or security shifts?
No. For safety reasons and to avoid distractions, children are not allowed during booth setup or while working security shifts.
🛡️ Do I need to work security shifts?
Yes. Each vendor must choose one of the following:

Yes. This is a very busy boutique. We encourage vendors to restock daily if possible.
